UPDATE ON 6017 MEMORIAL FUND RAISING
The fundraising goal is $35,000. The funds are planned to pay for the memorial landscaping, markers, and dedication. The Coast Guard Foundation has agreed to act as the agent for the memorial's creation. The Sitka Tribe of Alaska has generously offered to carve a totem telling the story of the 6017. The Air Station memorial committee is currently working on providing realistic cost quotes for the memorial costs.

The Coast Guard Aviation Association, in conjunction with the Coast Guard Foundation
is supporting the memorial fund to support the families of our Guardians
who were lost on 7 July 2010 in the MH-60 6017 off the coast of La Push Washington.
Funds raised here will be forwarded to the Coast Guard Foundation 6017 Memorial Fund
